How to arrive in Val d'Orcia

The farmhouse is located in the town of Castiglione d'Orcia, at Località La Fonte on State Road 323.

It's possible to reach the farmhouse, both from north and south, choosing the highway or the scenic roads of the Val d'Orcia.

Arriving by motorway from the North

Coming from the north on the A1 highway exit "Bettolle" and follow the signs to Torrita di Siena. Continue towards Pienza taking the 146 road. After passing through Pienza and reached San Quirico d'Orcia, take the regional road number 2 towards Rome. After passing the junction to the Terme di Bagno Vignoni, always continuing for Rome, take the 323 road towards Castiglione d'Orcia. The farmhouse Granaio della Fonte is right on Rte. 323.

Arriving by motorway from the South

Coming from the south on the A1 take exit "Chiusi-Chianciano T." and take the 146 road in the direction of Chianciano Terme, then on Montepulciano and Pienza. After passing through Pienza and have reached San Quirico d'Orcia, take the regional road number 2 towards Rome. Coming from Siena or Florence-Siena highway, from the north or from the state road n. 223 from the south, exit at "Siena sud" and follow the road for 2 Buonconvento and Montalcino. Passed Buonconvento, always continue on the 2 road towards San Quirico d'Orcia and Rome. After passing the junction to the Terme di Bagno Vignoni, always continuing to take Rome immediately after the 323 road towards Castiglione d'Orcia. How to arrive from Grosseto

Coming from Grosseto take the 223 state road that passes from Roselle towards Siena. At the crossroads of Paganico, leave the state 223 continuing on the road in the direction of Arcidosso and Castel del Piano. Castel del Piano cross reached by following the road n. 323 towards Seggiano and Ansidonia coming in Castiglione d'Orcia. The farmhouse Granaio della Fonte is right on Rte. 323
